CWC 2023: Prime Minister Modi, Australian Dy PM Marles to watch final at Ahmedabad

GUWAHATI, Nov 19: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lead a billion-plus Indians in cheering the Men in Blue at Ahmedabad.

Prime Minister Modi will be joined by Australian Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles who is has also travelled to Ahmedabad to witness the summit clash.

Marles, also the Australian defence minister, is visiting India to co-chair the second edition of the “2+2” ministerial dialogue on Monday but will be present at the Narendar Modi Stadium to cheer for the Kangaroos.

Several other dignitaries, including central ministers and celebrities from the sporting and the entertainment world, are also expected to watch the grand finale at Ahmedabad.

Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma will also cheer for the Men in Blue at Ahmedabad.
