GUWAHATI, March 22: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was on Thursday night (March 21) arrested by the ED in connection with gross anomalies in the Delhi Government’s Excise Policy, more popularly known as ‘Liquorgate’.
Here’s a timeline of the developments leading up to the Delhi CM’s arrest.

- August 19, 2022: CBI raids then Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and three others after Delhi Lieutenant Governor recommended a CBI probe into violation of rules
- August 22, 2022: Enforcement Directorate files money laundering case
- March 2023: Enforcement Directorate arrests Minister Manish Sisodia
- October 2023: ED arrests AAP leader Sanjay Singh
- October 2023: ED sends first summons to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal
