Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Aditya Roy Kapoor test positive for COVID-19
Guwahati: Days after Kartik Aaryan tested positive for coronavirus, now Shah Rukh Khan his son AbRam, Aditya Roy Kapur and Katrina Kaif, have all tested positive for covid19.
Recently, Katrina Kaif had to miss out on IIFA 2022 award, where actor Vicky Kaushal, her husband was declared the best actor.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee wished the Bollywood actor a fast ‘recovery’. “Just came to know that our Brand Ambassador Shahrukh Khan has been detected covid positive. Pray for the fastest recovery for the superstar. Get well Shahrukh! Spring back asap!” Mamata Banerjee tweeted on Sunday.

On Saturday, Akshay Kumar also tested positive for Covid-19.
There are rumours that many actors tested covid positive co-incidentally after attending Karan Johar’s 50th birthday bash! Kartik Aryan, who wasn’t invited to the party, supposedly got it from his co-star who had attended the event.
However, the news has been denied and clarification was put out stating barring Aditya and Katrina who were present at the party, no other guest tested positive. But it’s likely that others who interacted with these two may test positive too.
This comes at a time when Maharashtra reported over 1,400 Covid-19 cases and Mumbai (961 new cases) on Sunday.
Seeing the case at its peak, Maharashtra Minister Aaditya Thackeray has asked people to wear masks and not to panic amid spiraling cases.
On Saturday (June 4), Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) had asked the city to be on alert after a daily rise in coronavirus cases was observed.
