Guwahati: Massive fire breaks out at Basistha, Properties Worth Lakhs Gutted

Guwahati: A massive fire broke out in Guwahati’s Basistha area on Saturday morning.
The incident occurred in a confectionery-making industry at Lotakata in Basistha.
Meanwhile, two fire tenders have been deployed to douse the blazing flame.
According to sources, the fire is suspected to have erupted due to a leakage of a cylinder in the factory.
Following the incident, the blazing fire that spread to the house nearby completely burned one house.
The severe fire has destroyed properties worth lakhs of rupees including all important documents.
Though there was no report of human casualties.
