She’s not my biological daughter, we had adopted her; Dr Sangeeta Dutta confesses before Police

GUWAHATI, May 7: The four-year-old girl who was tortured and abused allegedly by the celebrity physician couple is not their biological daughter but was adopted by Dr Sangeeta Dutta and Dr Walliul Islam in 2019 along with their son.

This sensational revelation was made by the accused physician during quizzing by police after she was arrested by a team of cops from Khanapara in Ri-Bhoi district of Meghalaya falling on the outskirts of Guwahati city late Saturday night.

“She is not my biological daughter but we had adopted her along with our son after our surrogacy plans failed,” she told police. A video of the said confessional statement showed her admitting to allegations being earlier made that the minor girl is not her biological daughter but was adopted by them.
