Reise Gravel Attack Dirt Cross Event concludes in Guwahati; INRSC Eastern leg to be held on September 3

Guwahati, September 1, 2023 – The Reise Gravel Attack Dirt Cross, organized by Motosport Inc in association with NEMA, came to an exciting close on September 1st at the AEI Playground in Chandmari, Guwahati. This thrilling bike racing event witnessed the participation of around 80-100 contestants from across the Northeast region.

Under the vigilant supervision and guidance of experienced individuals, the race adhered to all safety norms set by the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI).

Riders showcased their skills in various categories, including Bullet Class, Novice, Expert, Two-Stroke, Open, and Scooter categories.

Winners’ List:

Novice Category:

  • Winner: Madhurjya
  • 1st Runner-up: Arnav Kalita
  • 2nd Runner-up: Lawrence

Bullet Class:

  • Winner: Hansraj Saikia
  • 1st Runner-up: Udayan Das
  • 2nd Runner-up: Ajit Sharma

Scooter Class:

  • Winner: Deep Narayan Roy
  • 1st Runner-up: Ajit Sharma
  • 2nd Runner-up: Manash Pratim

Two-Stroke:

  • Winner: Ashok Chetri
  • 1st Runner-up: Patsha
  • 2nd Runner-up: Amit Baidya

Expert Open:

  • Winner: Meban
  • 1st Runner-up: Paominthang
  • 2nd Runner-up: Ajit Sharma

Indian Open:

  • Winner: Anupam Dey
  • 1st Runner-up: Meban
  • 2nd Runner-up: Darren

Best Rider: Meban, who was also awarded a ‘Denvok’ bicycle.

The second part of this exciting event, the Indian National Sprint Championship- Eastern leg, which also serves as the east zone qualifiers for the national competition, is scheduled to take place on September 3rd at the PRP Valley in Panbari, Guwahati. These events hold great significance as they serve as qualifiers for the national competition. The previous North zone event was successfully held in Chandigarh, while the south zone event took place in Bangalore. The champions of these events will advance to the grand finals in Goa later this year.

Jaidas Menon, the event organizer, stated, “Our purpose in hosting the Reise Gravel Attack Dirt Cross and the INRSC event is to contribute to the Indian National Sprint Championship’s East Zone leg.” Menon revealed that the rally event has garnered significant interest from 80-100 riders.

Menon emphasized that anyone with a suitable motorcycle and a valid riding license is eligible to participate in these exciting events, fostering a spirit of inclusivity in the racing community.
