Assam hearthrob Zubeen Garg’s condition stable: Docs attending to him
Zubeen Garg who is admitted to Nemcare Hospital after he suffered a fall at studio on Wednesday morning is in a stable condition now, informed Dr. Hitesh Baruah, Managing Director, Nemcare Hospital.
Popular Assam singer who has also sung several Bollywood hit numbers, has been hospitalised. He was recording a song in a studio when he collapsed and was rushed to a hopital in Guwahati early Wednesday morning.
The Ya Ali (the song that shot him to fame in rest of India) singer is in ICU . His condition is said to be stable. According to doctors attending the singer, ECG and CT Scan has been done and a team of doctors is monitoring his condition.
Dr. Hitesh Baruah of Nemcare Hospital who is attending to the singer told the media, “Zubeen is stable now. We have kept him in ICU and and is under doctor’s observation. We will conduct a few medical examinations and then we will start the line of treatment. Right now his vitals are fine and he is responding to everything.”
Baruah added, “It is not a matter of concern. We will shift him to a cabin soon. We have already started with the conservative treatment and we are waiting for the results of the medical examinations that we have done. Today we will keep him under observation. EEG, ECG, CT SCAN tests have been conducted. We are waiting for the results. After that we can tell that what exactly has happened to him.”
The 50 year old singer-lyricist-music composer-actor-producer and director of popular Assamese films like Mission China and Kanchanjangha has suffered seizures a few times earlier and was hospitalised.
