JEE Advanced 2025 Results: The wait is finally over for lakhs of JEE aspirants! The results of JEE Advanced 2025 were announced today, and Rajit Gupta from the IIT Delhi zone has topped the exam by scoring an impressive 332 out of 360 marks. He is now officially the All India Rank 1 holder in the Common Rank List (CRL).
A total of 1,80,422 students appeared for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 of the exam, which was held on May 18, 2025. Out of them, 54,378 students have qualified. Among these successful candidates, more than 9,000 are girls.
Devdutta Majhi, who appeared from the IIT Kharagpur zone, is the All India female topper with CRL 16. She scored a brilliant 312 marks out of 360, making her one of the highest scorers this year.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur conducted this year’s exam and declared the results early morning on June 2. Students can now check their scorecards on the official website jeeadv.ac.in. The scorecard includes total marks, section-wise performance, qualifying status and also the cutoff marks.
As per the officials, aggregate marks in JEE Advanced are calculated by adding the scores from all three subjects: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Each subject carries a maximum of 120 marks, and the total comes to 360.
If you’ve cleared the exam, the next step is to register for JoSAA counselling which starts on June 3, 2025. Students will be able to apply for seats in top IITs and other prestigious institutions through this centralised counselling process.
Also, IIT Kanpur has opened registration for AAT (Architecture Aptitude Test) from June 2 (10:00 AM) to June 3 (5:00 PM) for students interested in B.Arch programmes. This can be done on the JEE Advanced candidate portal using your registered details.
